Axis Software Tips Spike Waveform Clearing in AxIS Navigator

The Spike Plots module uses output from a Spike Detector to display the spike voltage waveforms of the active well. The spike waveform plots will display a maximum of 20 spikes overlaid at once, with the brightest trace representing the most recently detected spike on that electrode. To specify how often spike waveforms are removed, right-click on the plot and select Waveform Clearing. Options include: After 1 Minute Spike, where waveforms are cleared 1 minute after they are detected, At End Of Raster, where waveforms are cleared after they no longer display in the raster plot, and Manual, where waveforms are not cleared unless Clear Spikes is selected.

Maestro Pro System "Very versatile and easy-to-use instrument"

"Straightforward software, easy-to-use equipment and we have obtained high-quality and reproducible results. My advice for other users is to find a good protocol to plate the cells. Once you have it, the battle is won! You will always get quality data from the Maestro Pro. Data analysis tools are extremely good, no need for a deep and solid understanding of electrophysiology. One could work with the machine and analyze the data without being an expert in electrophysiology."
